New Windows For An Old House

By the time our crew started working on refurbishing this house, it required more  destruction than construction and windows were one such example.  Many of the windows were broken, the sashes were also in terrible shape and almost all had been covered with storm windows which were also in deplorable condition.  The large sash windows had to be replaced and that is both an expensive and difficult job.

Our Captain Butch-- or maybe I should now give him the battlefield promotion to Major--, acquired the following: Lindy Watts, sales representative of Norandex Renolds Distribution Company, negotiated with Simonton Windows to furnish replacement vinyl windows for the entire house.  Southeast Construction, a local contractor will furnish installation. The major job left to our construction/destruction team was to remove the broken storm windows and debris in the window framing from decades of use, misuse and lack of maintenance.  This has now been completed. New windows are ready for installation when the other construction is ready for them.
