This page is the responsibility of the Education Department of FUMC of Elizabeth City to maintain and keep current as well as to choose its content. As a starting point one of the Web Page administrators has placed some information onto this page so that the few words will not be lonely. The Education Department is urged to remove, modify and add whatever they feel will best serve the objectives of informing both those currently in the church family and those considering joining us as to what happens at FUMC to improve one's knowledge of the Bible and its teachings. In the center of the page you will find general descriptions of Organizations, Meetings (i.e.: Church Conferences, Charge Conferences, United Methodist Women Meetings, Book Club Meetings,) Classes (Preschool classes, Sunday school classes, Bible classes, Spiritual Enrichment classes, etc.) In the left column you will also find information of general interest to Church Family members such as Vision and Mission Statement and Status of the Three Year Plan; Officers of the Church Administrative Board and/or Church Council; and other something about other persons having important responsibilities in the church. In the right column you will find some of Wesley's ideas and teachings as well as information found in the United Methodist Discipline.
